The Faculty's Marketing Team supports the faculty and its schools in achieving recruitment targets and objectives. Activity includes web, social media, advertising, events, communications, photography, video and print.
Useful resources and guidelines
- Identity and tone of voice guidelines. Visit the communications website for guidance on the University brand and writing style.
- News and events. News and events on the website and social media help to demonstrate the dynamism and diversity of our schools. These also feed into communications and print items. Please get in touch with any potential news or events items on essl-web@leeds.ac.uk
- Photography and video. There is a range of photography and video content which can enhance your presentations, please first review the online image library then contact essl-web@leeds.ac.uk if you do not find what you need.
- Social media. All staff should review the faculty social media best practice guide. It covers social media for both professional and personal use. You can find further information, guidance and support for using social media on the communications website.
- Student profiles. Please recommend students who have had an interesting experience/achievement/background and the Team will contact them to complete a profile. Send details to essl-web@leeds.ac.uk
- Templates. Word document and PowerPoint templates are available to download from the communications website.
- Websites. The Marketing Team manages the faculty's website www.essl.leeds.ac.uk and the school sites which are hosted within this domain. If you have a query or notice an error/omission please contact essl-web@leeds.ac.uk . Research centre websites are managed by colleagues in schools.
